The Birth of a Legacy

In 1976, ‘Kumar Prakashan’ was established with a noble aim to serve the B.Com. students of Gujarat University. Its reputation for quality and dedication quickly made it a staple among the academic community. Building on this success, the late Shri Arunbhai expanded the vision in 1988 by founding ‘Kumar Prakashan Kendra.’ His mission was clear: to provide high school students with better quality books, starting with the highly acclaimed 5 Star Test Papers for S.S.C. Board students.

Despite fierce competition, these test papers achieved remarkable sales, setting a new benchmark in educational publications.

Embracing the Digital Era

Recognizing the importance of adapting to modern technological advancements, Kumar Prakashan Kendra ventured into the digital realm. To keep up with the dynamic educational landscape, the company developed a ‘Paper Generator App’. These digital tools have been widely accepted in the market, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing cutting-edge resources for today’s learners.

Rise of the Darpan Series

With a vision to cater to the high school and higher secondary science students, Kumar Prakashan Kendra launched the prestigious ‘Darpan’ series. Thanks to the tireless efforts of experienced writers and the innovative Darpan Research team, the science books under this title quickly gained popularity across Gujarat.

These books, fondly referred to as ‘hot cakes’ by many, were embraced by students and educators alike for their quality and comprehensiveness.
